Sacred ArtsTierra Burns is a phenomenal dancer who is able to teach all ages. She began praise dancing at the age of 5 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. At the age of 14 she began praise dancing and miming in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia with Resurrection Praise Ministry. In 2009, she founded HOPE Mime Ministry at North Carolina Central University and became Co-Director for Unique Praise Dance Ministry at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Burns is currently the Assistant Praise Dance Director for Holiness Liturgical Dance at Walker Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church. She also performed with House Arrest II Hip Hop Dance Team and eClipse Auxiliary (Marching Band Dancer). She has the ability to bring music and words to life through movement and believes it can decrease mental and physical illnesses. Additionally, Tierra Burns has the ability to motivate others through motivational speaking. She began competing in oratorical contests at the age of 14 and is currently apart of Victorious Versus, a poetry ministry at Walker Temple AME.
